Breastmilk is the best for babies. The World Health Organisation recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. Unnecessary introduction of bottle feeding or other food and drinks will have a negative impact on breastfeeding. After six months of age, infants should receive age-appropriate foods while breastfeeding continues for up to two years of age or beyond. Consult your doctor before deciding to use infant formula or if you have difficulty breastfeeding.
It takes four days for the fertilized egg to travel down the fallopian tube, then three days to swim in the womb and finally settle in the mucosa (the thin membrane on your uterus wall). The Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a protein-based hormone and it is released after the egg settles down. Some pregnancy tests detect this hormone to determine if you're pregnant. Congratulations, your pregnancy is confirmed!
The greater the desire to have children, the greater the tension and excitement. Do things that allow you to relax and be distracted from any tension. You may enjoy a nice meal or visit the cinema to bond with your partner.
